Commercial Radio Operator Exams:
We give all commercial exam elements including code exams for Radio Telegraph Licenses.  To schedule an exam please call or text (951)215-1046 or email wa6bz@arrl.net at least 48 hours in advance of the time you would like to take your test.  Commercial exams may be scheduled any weekday or on exam Saturdays as shown on the VE Schedule tab. 

Commercial exams are closed book, please bring several #2 pencils and erasers, a picture ID and a check for $65.00 made out to INARTE for the exam fee.  Note, your exams are scored by INARTE and they will inform you if you passed or failed the exam.  We do not have exam scoring equipment here.

NO BOOKS, LAPTOPS, CELLPHONES OR NOTES ALLOWED IN THE EXAM ROOM.

VE Amateur Radio Exams:

IMPORTANT THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE EXAM SESSION;
                   1.  PICTURE ID (DRIVERS LICENSE, STUDENT BODY CARD, MILITARY ID ETC)
                   2.  COPY OF YOUR CURRENT FCC AMATEUR LICENSE THAT WE CAN KEEP. 
                   3.  EXAM FEE (CURRENTLY $15.00 CASH OR CHECK PAYABLE TO SBE CHAPTER 131) WE'LL SUPPLY THE REST.

    NOTE:  We do score amateur radio exams so you will know immediately after you take your exam if you passed or failed.  Retake exams will require an additional $15.00 fee if for the same element as the one failed.

MAP TO EXAM SITE

Directions to exam site--If you are coming from the I215 go East on Cactus Ave about 3 miles turn right on Graham/Riverside Aves about 1/4 mile from your turn you'll turn left onto Z Street go to the 4 way stop signs (you'll see our satellite antennas) turn right (our main parking lot is on 4th Street).  You will need to enter the second gate on your left when you turn right from Z St onto 4th.  If you get lost you can call (951)215-1046 and we'll guide you in.  Tell the Security Guard at the gate you are here to take a radio exam and they'll direct you to where you park and where you have to go to take the exam in the building.
