K6AFN Amateur Radio Group has a new website format.  Due to the closing of YAHOO! web pages we have moved our web page to 000webhost.com for their free services.  We wish to thank the operators of 000webhost.com for their ability to provide these services to K6AFN.

Also, K6AFN has discontinued regularly scheduled Weekend exam sessions.  K6AFN will no longer host second Saturday of every even numbered month exams sessions.  Instead K6AFN offers weekly VE exams on every Wednesday except for Wednesdays during a holiday week.  We will schedule special Saturday/Weekend sessions as requested and they will be posted on the VE Exam Sessions page of this Web site.

K6AFN is adding six meters to its amateur radio station at the Defense Media Center.  The Six meter operation is in addition to all HF frequencies, VHF on 2 meters, 1-1/4 meters, and 70 cm.  We'll make a special announcement when six meter operation is on the air.
